GoalCreate a clean, fast business website that introduces the agency, explains its services, shows real references and makes it easy for potential clients to get in touch.

02

The challenge

Halvorsen Tech needed a professional, trustworthy web presence that could explain technical services to small and medium-sized Norwegian businesses without overwhelming them. The site had to feel modern and credible while keeping the messaging simple and conversion-focused.

Target usersSmall and medium-sized Norwegian businesses looking for simple, affordable web solutions, hosting and automation.

03

Research & understanding

  • Competitor analysis of local Norwegian web agencies to identify common service offerings and pricing models.
  • Defined a content structure that prioritises trust signals: references, clear pricing and an accessible contact flow.

04

Process

  1. 01

    Research

Mapped competitor sites and defined the core service offering.

  2. 02

    Content

Wrote service descriptions and structured the reference and news sections.

  3. 03

    Design

Built a clean, typographic layout with a professional colour palette and clear hierarchy.

  4. 04

    Development

Implemented the site in React + TypeScript with Supabase for dynamic content.

  5. 05

    Calculator

Added an interactive project price estimator on the services page.

  6. 06

    Admin

Built a protected admin dashboard for managing references, news and contact submissions.

05

Design

  • Kept the visual language restrained and corporate — serif headings paired with a neutral sans-serif body to balance warmth and professionalism.
  • Placed the price calculator early on the services page to qualify leads and reduce friction before contact.

06

Development

  • Used Supabase for authentication, row-level security and dynamic content such as references and news posts.
  • Built a serverless edge function that sends contact-form notifications via Resend to the agency inbox.
  • React
  • TypeScript
  • Tailwind CSS
  • Supabase

07

Final solution

A multi-page Norwegian business website with a service overview, interactive price calculator, reference portfolio, news section and a contact form backed by Supabase. An admin dashboard lets the owner manage content and incoming inquiries.

Reflection

What worked
The combination of clear service copy and an upfront price estimator made the offering easy to understand.
What did not work
Some early layout explorations were too visually busy for a B2B audience and had to be simplified.
What I learned
How to structure a content-managed business site with role-based access and serverless notifications.
What I would improve
Add automated follow-up emails and a more detailed project intake questionnaire.
My contribution
Designed and developed the entire site, including the admin dashboard and backend integrations.
